Pneuma was imagined as a tenuous substance akin to a current of breath, but essentially possessing the quality of warmth; it was immanent in the universe, and in man as the life-giving principle. embrace where we are in the moment, and acknowledge our sense of the place. As small as our breath, as big as our soul, let us be bound to recall and remember.
